Dandelion turned to see a dragon flying next to her.
*oh... parents and I had a little fight this morning. Its not that bad though, Im fine.* Dandelion responded. *how about you?* she asked, trying to move the conversation off of herself.

Vespa looked irritated. "You don't know that.", He glowered. Harasa was giggling but Vespa knew how her brain works. She probably believes in everything that Comet is declining. And Vespa is skeptical about his statement. "Yes it is odd", She buzzed. "Not having at least one two winged species of dragon. Or dragons that believe they're fish.".

"I know! Like are you a fish or a dragon? Make up your mind!" Comet joked. "But seriously, what's with the wings? Apparently, they aren't like ours at all. They're like weird leathery-bat wings." Comet looked over at his newly-bought silk. "Hmmm.... Want to go to the island now? Maybe just to the tip where it curls back?" He asked.

"That stinks... I had a fight with my sister the other day... I still don't think Hydrangea is over it... but whatever, families fight, and then you make up again, it doesn't feel good but that's just the way things are sometimes" Magnolia tried to comfort her, not entirely sure if he was succeeding

Dandelion nodded, *I guess youre right. But that still doesnt make this day less sucky.*

"Yeah... sometimes we all just have to sulk and give ourselves time to get over things, but that doesn't mean we can't try to cheer ourselves up, wanna go hang out today?" Magnolia offered

Dandelion considered it, then responded. *where would we be going?* she asked.

Magnolia stopped and thought for a moment, turning his head from side to side as he considered the questions before he just shrugged. [Lets just fly until we find something interesting, it doesnt matter where youre going, just who youre going with] Magnolia decidedly

*okay.* Dandelion agreed. It felt nice to be with someone. Her friends had become more and more afraid of her, and then theyd abandoned Dandelion. She would make sure that Magnolia didnt find out about her powers.

Pollen

The young Hivewing perched delicately on the branch of an old pine. He stiffened, poised to strike, a greedy smile blessing his lips. The wind rattled the needle leaves, tugging at his wing membranes. Pollen pushed off the branch and spread his wings, catching the wind like a pair of sails. He soared for what seemed a too short of a time before ungracefully plummeting to the forest floor below.
