"Ok sounds good to me." Shujaa says jumping up and sitting next to Buhrne. "I guess everyone wakes up later than us." He says laughing. "I wish I could sleep longer, but its hard for me. How'd you sleep?"

"Well," Buhrne said, tilting his head and then fixing his golden gaze on their pack members. "But it's getting colder every day now. Hopefully Akali and Rhode's pups are alright. They are the next pack members after all. How'd you sleep, Shujaa?"

Aspen pawed her brother. "Someday, I'm going to become a great warrior- just like father." She said it proudly but her eyes did have a determined glint. "And everyone will listen to me!" She was tiny and disliked it when people took advantage of that.

Skool walked with his sister among the pack. He watched as the pack began to get into the day. He saw that the lead hunter had an announcement. He listened to what Buhrne had to say. He went to him and began to speak. "Good morning Buhrune, I hope you rested well. When do we begin today's hunt? I am eager to get started."
Kiyiya trailed from her brother as he went to talk with Buhrne. She walked about to see what the other warriors were up to. They had not begun any training by what she saw, so she decided to explore. She roamed aimlessly for a bit before she found a small lizard. She watched it as it scaled a nearby tree. After getting a bit cold from the breeze blowing through, She decided to sun bathe until she was needed...
"Not really" Rhode chuckled."Thy others are tho" she gently pawed the other two sleeping pups."Mrhmrm" Rowan replied pawing her away and flipping over."There's food" Rhode whispered to him pasig him again.He popped up his ears perked."Food?!" he said excitedly his tail wagging,thumping against his still sleeping sister.Come on sweetie,wake up she mentally asked nudging Ash
(I'm still so excited over the fact that all three are named after trees!Also did Arrowskysong change their user?)

((Note: you guys don't have to write something quite this long, but remember, this is a literate RP and I expect 6+ sentences At The Minimum))
((Second Note: remember, everyone: this takes place in the Grand Canyon. It's a beautiful place, and also happens to be my home, which is why I chose it; I want to see the wolves returned to GC National Park. But that's beside the point. Keep your replies and actions accurate to the geography/animals/plants there. They live at the bottom by the river in the summer (which it is now; just the beginning) and fall, and on the Rim in the spring/winter. I will post a picture of where the camp is located ASAP))
Kadara sighed, rolling over on her side. Outside her den - a small cave right by the river, the entrance curving away giving her privacy - she could hear her pack getting up and ready for the day. She hadn't slept at all last night, not with the Choosing in a week's time. It was where she would choose the new pack lieutenants - her Seconds, the Betas, and her Thirds as well as personal guards, the Deltas. And her mate. Well, that had been the easy choice. Kadara and Kragvir had been close ever since he had arrived in this pack, and recently, their relationship seemed to have grown into something larger. Kadara sighed again. She had already decided on her female Betas and Deltas... but the males... they had to be someone who would get along well with their partner, and someone who was capable of carrying out the task. No one had yet asked for the jobs, wanting to truly dedicate themself to the pack. If no one wished to do the job, Kadara would have to choose someone anyway.
Kadara pushed herself to her feet and shook the sand out of her pelt. At first glance, she was black, but in reality, her fur was a dark blend of reds, golds, and browns. She narrowed her sapphire eyes against the morning light as she exited her den, calling greetings to her packmates. As she always did in the morning, Kadara walked to the Colorado River and waded into the cold water, ducking her head under to dispel the sleepy fog in her mind. After lapping up a few mouthfuls, she returned to the bank and shook herself violently, water flying off her fur. Then she leapt up on a high rock, one of the first in their camp to be touched by the sun as it rose over the walls of the Canyon. As she let the golden rays warm her and dry the icy water, Kadara sighed. There certainly are perks to being Alpha, she thought. Brushing the thought away, she called out the pack. "Wolves," she said, her voice carrying. "I'd like to organize patrols early. Any volunteers for a morning hunt?" she asked. I suppose I'll have to lead it, she thought even as she spoke.

"Nuh-uh. Not getting up!" Ash called grumpily as her mother tried to poke her awake. "I wanna sleep!" she complained loudly. Of course, all she was doing in protesting was waking herself up farther, which she realized after a moment. "Just leave me alone, kay?" she mumbled, flopping a paw over her eyes. Her littermates had already gotten up and were wandering around. She heard her father, Hawk, offering Aspen some meat. Probably yesterday's leftovers, Ash though sleepily. All tough and cold.
She peeked through the narrow gap her large paw couldn't cover. The sun hadn't yet come over the canyon walls... she'd get up when it did. Maybe.

Kali had just returned to the pack when she heard Kadara speak. She sat, her eyes fixed on the Alpha female as she made her announcement. "If you don't mind, Kadara, maybe a patrol can be organized to check the borders? After all, the hunters are going out soon." The female wolf tilted her head towards the other wolves. "That is, if any warriors are willing to come with me now."

Aspen huffed as Ash spoke. She didn't bother poking her sister anymore though, she was too awake now to be paying attention to the nursery surroundings. Instead, she was slightly overwhelmed by the many smells and noises she could now hear. Her hearing and tracking was getting better and she really hoped someday Kadara would pick her to be a Lead Warrior.

He leaped from his rock, nodding silently to Shujaa and Skool before heading to Kadara. "Of course I'm willing to join a hunting patrol. I am Lead Hunter after all," he said slightly playfully, his ear flicking ever so slightly. He seemed in a better mood than this morning after having some conversation. "I would be honored if you would hunt with us as well today, Kadara."

Kadara flicked her ear, an amused light in her eyes. "Of course, Kali," she replied to the warrior. "I was going to do that after I organized a hunting group. Would you like to go chase down our lead warrior?" she asked, then addressed Buhrne. "Thank you. I'd be honored to join you on a hunt." Kadara said, stiffening a bit at the formality. She did not stand on such, insisting that her packmates treat her like just they would treat each other. They did, though with a bit more respect. However, there were some, like her Lead Hunter, who never seemed to be able to act quite natural around her. Kadara sighed. Well, if he insists on being so formal, let him, she thought. "Have you found any good hunting spots? After all, we've only just arrived at our summer camp." Only just was a bit of an exaggeration, she realized, but they had been at the riverside camp for less than a moon. "I wonder if there is as many fish as last year."

As soon as the poking stopped - who, she realized, had been her sister aspen and not her mother, Ash sat up, surprised. Then she sighed. Her belly was growling louder than a grizzly bear. "Had the hunting patrol gone out yet?" she asked her sister blearily, pushing herself to her feet and wobbling over to the prey pile on sleepy legs.
