Dark and light. Like ying and yang. Fire and ice. Cheese and sprinklesWait, where had that one come from? She shrugged it off. Which to choose? Was this some sort of test, or just a random choice she had to make? She felt that if a world was revolting, it would be on the dark side. Or would it try and be smart and be on the light side? She groaned in frustration, ears flattened against her hair. There was only one way to decide.
She closed her eyes, spun in a circle, and pointed. Her finger pointed off into neither side, but it was closer to the dark. She swallowed in anxiety. Her choice was made now, no going back. She went into the Dark side.

You quickly make your way across the trail. Soon you notice that the ground has become more of a marsh and is wet underfoot. The sky is obscured by trees.

You look closer down the cliffside and notice that it's a boxed ravine with fierce winds batting between the walls.

Astraeus shakes her head and decides to take another, safer route. She looks around for said route.

Cadi made a face at the marshy ground, starting to feel a nagging feeling of regret at her choice. Even though she had not really chosen. She felt frightened and somewhat trapped under the thick canopy. She jumped at the lightest rustle or suspicious noise.

With no other option in sight, Astraeus settles for the trail, very carefully making her way forwards, careful not to slip and fall.

Soon the boggy ground starts to change into a more hardened clay surface. you can see the end of the trees!

you slowly start to descend and as you get lower you notice that the craggy peaks change into a more grassy slope.

Cadi picked up her speed. This dark forest creeped her out a little, she wanted to be out of it. She was also glad that the ground was no longer covering her paws in muck.

You break through the trees and to your surprise find a grassy meadow. The sky above is a beautiful purple and black haze.
