Liam stopped right in his tracks. " I'm not here to hurt anyone. I just needed to know if there were any survivors here. " He said setting his pistols by his feet, he kicked them away, trying to show he wasn't going to hurt them, he wouldn't even dream of it. He noticed a child, they had a child with them.

Kenneth's eyes grazed over the boy. "Is that all?" He had tucked away his own rifle and switched it out for a pistol in his impatience. He was itching to get going, We don't have time to socialize! His brain screamed.

Blue stared at the stranger for a second. You look like a child! How old are you? And those wounds! What did you do? Jump through a window or something? she asked. She approached him and grabbed his face to look at the cuts. Did you even try to treat your wounds? she mumbled.

Liam blinked twice. He stiffened at reference to him as a child. " I'm seventeen, I'll be eighteen in three months. And I don't know how to treat them. " He answered honestly. He turned to the other people. " I just wanted to know I wasn't alone, I've been alone ever since the breakout. " He used the term 'breakout' bitterly.
" Yes in fact, I did jump out a window, I cut myself when I hit the shards on the ground. "

"You're alone?" Steven asked lowering the gun some. Maybe it would be alright to take in one more, really it would just give an extra set of hands and eyes. They were a group made up of survivors after all, their whole slogan was Survivors Welcomed, vague because they did care who you were as long as you were calm and none violent they didn't care.

" Yeah." He looked at the person that had studied his face. " I am not a child, thank you very much. " He bent down to pick up his guns, and put them in his pockets. " And what would I gain from killing you all? You would all worth much more alive. " He noted. He looked at the small child. " Is she yours? " He asked,
He had no idea how she could have survived.

"Yes she is, though I wouldn't go around saying such things when someone has a gun pointed at you. Least you value your life." Steven said raising the gun a bit to make a point. "As leader of this group, I'm not apposed to you joining us, though know at the first sign of hostility I will shoot."

Liam shuddered, he knew he wouldn't be given a warm welcome, but he was scaring him, which was the point. He nodded.
" I understand. " He would mention his breakdowns later, he didn't want to seem hostile at all, it would only make his position worse.
