It was quite difficult to open boxes with only one arm, especially when it was with your non-dominant arm. Many time he tried to use his right hand out of habit, and each time it made him wincing in pain.
He finally found a large red bag with a cross symbol. He wanted to take it, but realized that
"I think I found it".
He took it with his left hand only, and realized that it was not a good idea and that he should probably have asked for help when the weight almost made him drop the bag and fell.
