Tikki finished quickly letting the ointment soothe the wounds " There ya go... should heal quite quickly " the extremely small fox said before her radar like ears rotated to a small yep. Riker had gotten stepped on and was pouting and rubbing his tail.

Flamme stood up her legs stiff from the burns

Tikki glanced back at the mighty Lioness " Take it easy, if you get light headed lay down and rest" she glared at Riker who drooped his tail and got back to work his flexible spin snaking through the warriors.

Flamme went to go sleep

The next morning Lani came running into the small clearing from her medicine cave.
"Kona's dead!" she cried.
Syphira, who was laying comfortably in a sunspot, jumped up quickly.
"What?!" the old fox cried, her wings rustled uncomfortably.
"H-He died from h-his wounds. I just f-found him as I w-woke up..." Lani sobbed.
"Who's the new leader?" Syphira asked.
Lani looked up at the clouds. "Koroo, the warrior." she said finally.
Koroo was a strong, but somewhat haughty German Shepherd who liked nothing more than a good scrap.
"Are you sure you read the clouds right? Koroo would send us into battle over a stolen piece of prey!" Syphira exclaimed. Lani nodded her head gravely.
"I only say what the Ancestors tell us." she answered.
"I think Star Forest has just fallen." Syphira said softly.

Tikki and Riker were sleeping comfortably under an overhang when Lani entered the clearing, Tikki's ears perked up and she stood quickly but only Listened, she didn't move for she would wake the sleeping martin. Koroo.....no... he will kill us all over nothing. The tiny fox swished her tail in thought, Koroo's ego will most definatly be his down fall. she paused and looked down at the sleeping Riker, "Time to get up.... your training starts today.." she said one ear still turned to the conversation. Riker Yawned and got up rubbing his face " I'm training to be a scout?" he asked almost as if it was disappointing, Tikki glared at the ground, "You will if you want to stay alive.." she said bluntly. Though she wasn't good in combat she knew that a skilled scout is something even Koroo can't harm. Riker glanced at Tikki slightly worried the lighthearted fox had never been like this before.." um- do we have to ask Kona for my position?" he asked unaware of the previous conversation. Tikki flattened her large ears and sighed " Kona's dead, he died this morning..." Riker lowered his head "oh..... okay.." he said softly

Syphira sat by the gnarled tree deep in thought. Pa'uan padded over to her.
"I heard about Kona." he whimpered.
"Koroo is now in charge. He will travel to the Seeing Pool tomorrow to get his future sight." Syphira said flatly.
"Will we still train today?" the tiny white wolf asked, all his tails wagging in excitement.
"Obviously. Time must move on..."
Syphira rested her head on her paws and stared at a clump of bushes.
"When can we go?" Pa'uan asked impatiently.
"In a few minutes..."
