Pride Leader AND second in command Name/Gender: The Pride leader is Dhux (Male), and the second in command is Xan (Female). The leaders name is short for Dhuxul, which is Ember in Somali, and the second in commands name is short for Xanfar, which is Gust in Somali.

Distinctive trait(s) of the pride: The members of WindFlames pride have mostly light colored fur that is thin. This type of fur helps them with constant exposure to the sun, and their generally lean bodies help them become more aerodynamic while in flight. Most on them have wings, and some type of armor. However, they prefer to pack lightly in order to be able to gain great speed while in battle. More specifically, multiple members of the WindFlames pride have Flame Wings, and Autumn Dragoon Armor, but it is customary for the leader of the pride to wear the Majestic Regalia.

General attitude of pride members: Generally the members of the WindFlames pride are extroverted, and friendly. However, they are extremely loyal to their pride, and to not tolerate trespassing without a very good reason. They enjoy the heat of battle, but focus mostly on defending and outmaneuvering their enemy, than attacking head on.

Backstory of pride leader, second in command or, pride:

Backstory of the leader of pride: As the son of the previous leader of WindFlames pride, Dhux was trained in the art of leadership from an early age, and became the leader when his father was badly injured, rending him unable to fight, and accomplish his duties as leader. However, Dhux did not always wish to be leader, and is not always as confident as he appears. Despite the fact that his father made him take over as leader, Dhux still loves his family, and will do whatever it takes to protect him. He is best friends with his current second in command or deputy, and feels a strong connection with her. Some may say that he knows her more than she knows herself, and she knows him more than he knows himself. Dhux is still young, and needs to learn that as leader he must put his pride before his family, but with his family and friends at his side he will make it.

Backstory of the second in command of pride: Xan was found abandoned as a mere cub, and was then taken into the WindFlames pride. As she was not native to the territory, many bullied her throughout her life, and so she became extremely introverted. However, a few months after she started training, she befriended Dhux, or rather he befriended her. At first, Xan did not wish to be friends with Dhux, but he insisted, and followed her wherever she went. Then, after Dhux had a particularly hard time with his father, he confessed his feelings to Xan, and she connected with him, accepting his friendship. Ever since then, they have been great friends, and partners. A few months after Xan finished training, her father (whom she did not know at the time) came to the pride, and confessed that she was his daughter. It turns out that her mother was of the DarkRunes pride, and her father is a rouge. Her mother died a few weeks after she was born, when they were attacked by a group of Morkkos. Her mother and father had fought to protect her, but when it became clear that they would not be able to do so for very much longer, her mother ordered her father to run away with her. Realizing it was the last hope of saving Xan, he did so, but with great resentment that he could not save her mother as well. Not knowing how to raise the child, Xan's father left her on the edge of WindFlames pride territory, hoping for her to be taken into the pride. After Xan found out about her past she spent one year traveling the world with her father, only to return realizing that she had a family in the WindFlames pride, and that she could never feel as close to her father as some members of WindFlames pride. Once there, she was made deputy or second in command by Dhux who had become leader while she was absent.

Other: If I may, I would like to suggest the physical pheatures of WindFlames pride territory. I was thinking of something like this:

The Badlands, but the camp would be more like this:

The grand canyon. The river would provide a fresh source of water, and the pride could make homes in caves or under overhangs of rock.
