Brokenstar dipped his head in the pool of water at the corner of camp and sighed. He jumped up on to Midnight Ledge. "All cats old enough to battle under the stars, gather below Midnight Ledge for a Clan meeting!"

Starfalling~

Slowly my eyes opened from my slumber as I sat up in the Warriors den. My pale green eyes flicked around the clearing as I came outside. There were several things I noticed, including the low fresh-kill pile. Guess I'll have to do some hunting today. A shiver slowly went up my spine as a mysterious sense of dread tugged at my mind. Shaking my head I cleared my mind momentarily of the thought, it wasn't worth worrying about. Besides, once I was in the open forest I would feel better. Bunching my muscles, I burst into a slow run, crossing the clearing quickly. Once I was out I turned instinctively towards the river. As soon as I arrived I sat at the edge and watched for a tiny flash of silver. This was a game of patience, fish weren't always easy to catch.(Does Brokenstar know her already or not?)

Briarpaw almost tripped over her paws as she scrambled out of the Apprentice's den. Dodging rocks on the ground, she arrived under Midnight Ledge in a timely matter.

Stormstar padded through the sunlit forest, going for a casual stroll. She had no idea when it had turned to hunting, but now she carried a squirrel, limp in her jaws. Her paws crunched on undergrowth, but she was almost back to the sheltered meadow which was camp. She padded up the final obstacle in her way, and extremely steep hill. As she made her way to the top, she leaped off; something that looked extremely risky, was thrilling, and perfectly safe. She landed in a pile of soft leaves and nettles, and shook of the fall.
"Never gets old." She said, satisfied, and made her way into the clearing. Cats were about, doing daily things. Relaxed, she put the squirrel in the pile and returned to her leader duties.

"Ok, as you all know, there has been some prey stealing from AirClan." He addressed his Clan. "So I will be going out into the forest to check, BrierPaw, you are coming also."

First, there was darkness. Then there were trees all around me."Hmm...I don't remember this place." I said to myself. In the distance, there was the noise of a screaming kit. I ran to the noise into a light. The sunlight from outside woke me up.
"Oh," I whisper to myself as I rise from my grassy bed. "It was just a dream. I almost thought it was real for a sec. Oh well, I shouldn't let that worry me now. I need to go check on the new litter of kits." I clean myself and went of to the nursery den. One of our she-cat warriors just gave birth yesterday and as job of Medicine cat, I need to see if the kits are healthy.
As I cross the opening, I notice that the food pile was low. This were hard times indeed. My stomach growled at the thought of a delicious fresh salmon, but I cant think of that now. I quickly took a small croppy in my mouth and took it with me to feed the new mother.

She puffed out her chest. "Those Airclan fleabags need to catch their own prey!" she mewed quietly, but confidentiality. She was shushed by a queen.

A few warriors stood up and Briarpaw felt a rush of excitement. She stood up with them, her chest puffed out.

"Ready?" BrokenStar jumped down. He started towards the shadow that held their exit/entrance. He padded out into the forest quietly. "Keep low everyone." He told them

A silver flash sparked quickly in the water and my paw darted out. When my paw came back out of the water, a large salmon flew over to the river bank, and was quickly killed. Then a new smell wafted over to me, cat, fox, blood. It was coming from another Nightclans. But I had to check it out, there could be a cat in danger! So I stealthily tracked the very fresh scent into enemy clan territory once I had put a bit of dirt over the fish body. As I went on, the blood scent became almost unbearable. I think I'm getting close, just hope Nightclan doesn't discover me here. The fox soon came into sight, snarling over a beautiful bloody undersized cat who looked like a kit and maybe was. Snarling I lunged at the fox bowling it over. "RUN!" I yelled to the cat. As the fox turned and snapped at my paw, drawing blood.
