Wait, isn't it technically a transparent .png then?

Yeah, the bottom layer is transparent.

I dunno. I haven't tried to save any of my art as a transparent .png yet. Usually when I draw without a background, I want the back to be transparent instead of white.

Yeah, if you want it to save as Transparent you need to save it as a Png.

My PTSai gives me the option of 24bpp RGB or 32bpp ARGB (Each Pixel has Opacity). I don't know anything about 31bpp though,

I think I have that option, I'm not sure. I'll test it now.
