He was such a pretty budgie ;3; (I've always wanted one but my mom is terrified of birds) That's also the reason I dread going away for college because I don't want my cat passing away when I'm not there :c

Aww thanks MWG :> That's understandable, I have friends who are rather nervous around animals that fly about. Birds can be great feathery companions, but their molting seasons can be quite nightmarish haha.

:(( Yea I fear the same thing for my current pets too (3 more birds). But sometimes as much as we all want to be there for our feathery/furry buddy, life just annoyingly doesn't permit it. I think what matters most is that we cherish the happy moments we had with them, knowing that as their owner and friend we've done all we can to give them as much of a comfortable life while they were around. Keep the good memories and know that they aren't suffering anymore. I find that this thread is also a great way to celebrate our pets lives ^^

Okay, enough emotional talk. Here's a cute kitty:

This is my tabby Hudson. He's a little chubby and super lazy and cute. Oh and he is the sassiest cat I have ever seen.

And this is my other tabby Jake. He's a lot more jumpy and timid.

xD This is the first time I've seen someone use a luffox to represent their cat! That's pretty cool!

This took me a while to get together...there are no dog type species with floppy ears and all but one of my pets have floppy ears lol. So here are my furry kids :)

First up we have Gracie May. She's a blue merle great dane about 2 years old and 115 pounds. She's a sweet girl and loves to run. We have raced her down one side of our 2.5 acres in the car and she still beats us at 35 miles mph.

Second we have Lola. Lola is our little mixed chihuahua street dog. She loves absolutely everyone and has won over people that claim to dislike little dogs. She is mostly black with a little white on her chest and toes, with stray white hairs here and there. She is super small around 4 pounds.

Next up is Fergie. She is my oldest pooch at 7 years old. She is a red Shih Tzu with a black mask. I chose the luffox to show her because it has a smooshy face and her bottom jaw does stick out a little further showing a couple bottom teeth like the luff does.. This girl got me through many of my husbands deployments in the Navy.

Now here is our happy little vocal weiner dog, Nina. She's actually gone through a few names such as Bug(she bugs all the other pets), weiner(this one still gets her excited), what did you do (yes I talk to my pets) but I settled on Nina because it sends her overboard on excited. She is a great hunter and loves to catch, eat, and roll on bugs including scorpions. She also has a thing for pigeons...not that I can be too proud of this but she can eat a whole pigeon in less than 1 minute including the feathers. She catches those herself as well which says something about her hunting skills as she only weighs about 9 or ten pounds sometimes more if it was a lucrative bird week.

Lastly we have Karma our little black kitty. She used to have a brother but they didn't get along so she chased him away and eventually he never came home. For this I gave her horns. And yes she does have a hot pink collar but it looks more like a feather boa because for the first week she had it on all she did was kick at it and fray it. I think it kind of suits her now though.
