A. Climb a tree. I want to see any possible danger, or people. I also might be able to see any landmarks that will tell me where I am. The path might be a dead end, or it is a long path that is rarely used. The light could be any number of things and I do not want to risk it being something dangerous.

Those of you who climbed the tree get all the way to the top. You see mountains in the distance, and a village off to the north. As you go to climb back down, you slip and free-fall through the air for several moments. You stop with a jerk, and start rising again. You look down, and see that each of you are being carried by a flying sylesti. They take the three of you to the mountains, and into a cave. They speak to you: Hello! We are the guardians of the forest. We help poor sylestians like you who get brought here by the goblins. We cannot take you back to your village because a spell has been cast to prevent us from leaving. Will you help us?

Those of your who followed the path continue along it for most of the morning, until you are exhausted. You find a fork in the road, and on the left side, you see a sparkling lake off in the distance, a days walk away. On the right side, you see what might be a village off in the distange, but it is hazy so you do not know if that is what it is. In the middle path, you see it slopes upward into the mountains.

The people who follow the glowing light keep getting closer and closer, but it just drifts farther away until it disappears and you are hopelessly lost because it moved to fast and you forgot to mark your path. You hear a grunting voice in the distance, but it is coming toward you quickly.
