Well, to tell the truth, this is my first ever roleplay (not only my first that I created, but also the first I participated), and I don't really know where to start.

((All right, I'll re-use my old openings ><))



Alf was curled up against the back wall of his cage, sitting on his bed. Peeking through his intertwined fingers, he glared at the scientists who were walk in the hallway outside of the steel bars. He had been experimented with yesterday, so had no need to fear what today would bring - they never tested the inhabitants two days in a row.... usually. Flicking his tail, he curled it around the pillow in his cell, bringing it to him. Uncurling his arms from his legs, he hug the pillow, flopping down on the bed, pillow covering his head. Sighing, the boy, laid on his side, rubbing his sore wings. His own fault for sleeping on them.
"What a pain..." He guessed he'll just laze around today then.


Lyre threw her pillow at the bars, not getting up from the bed to retrieve it. 'Annoying...' She muttered. Her ears twitched, and she stood up. Guess she might as well stretch now. Her arms over her head, she swayed her tail left and right, before bending down and trying to touch her toes. Doing the basic warm-ups, she peeped through the steel bars, retreating only when a guard or scientist came near. It was a routine to her, since there was nothing else to do. Shrugging, the female lay on her bead again, mind wandering off.


Richter was playing with his right hand, transforming it to different weapons. He still had trouble controlling it, but it wasn't as haywire as back then. Looking up, he scanned the passing people, noting their health, status and emotions. He grimaced at a few, those whose minds were dark, or who had wounds. Closing his eyes - he wasn't allowed to use the fire, the punishments he went through for that wasn't worth it - he laid on his back. They hadn't come for him in three days, and hoped it would stay as such.

i uncurl. where was i? i sit up, still in this small creature form. how had i gotten here? i wanted to speak but could not. i waddle, waddle!, over to the door. i could not see out from where i was so i climb up to the peek hole. darkness that is all i see. i was alone. i jump off the door. i was scared. i go to the corner and curl up. Lord where was i? i slow shift back into a human. i sit up. "he-hello?"

My vision is fuzzy...I can barely feel anything. There's people around me, I think. People in big white coats. I try to lift my hand, but I'm tied now. Then someone says, "He's up again, what did you do with-" and I'm forced back to sleep by one of the people.

I wake up some time later in what looks like...a jail cell? What am I doing here? I don't remember getting arrested, or drinking or anything; but I do seem to have a bad headache. I put my hand up to my forehead, a habit when I feel sick, and notice a line on my forehead. A little more poking shows it goes all the way around. What the heck have they done to me? I walk up to a mirror in the cell over a sink. The whole line is a scar. All the way around my head. Maybe it was a good thing I was asleep. It's not so much a good thing I was kidnapped.

Then, seeming out of nowhere, a beast with dark green and blue fur and a hundred eyes walks up behind me. I run to the other side of the cell, almost without thinking. When I look around the cell...the monster is gone. How could it disappear so quickly? And why does my lower back feel so heavy? I turn to look at it....the monster is attached to me. Except, it's not a monster. It's a feathery peacock tail. Yay. Kidnapped, and turned into a hybrid monster. I just hope they don't do any worse....yeah, I'm going to die.
