"But the tribes are powerful with that many dragons. " Rune cocks her head to the side. "Surely you were born in a tribe?"

"True, but lone dragons go unnoticed. I was born in this forest. There used to be a clan here. I suppose I'm the last dragon that was born in the forest clan," he couldn't remember much of the details. There had been a lot of screaming and running and fire. "I think our clan was attacked or something."

"Do you want to start over?" Rune asks. "Our tribe could use a healer like you. "

"It has been getting pretty lonely. But I'm not the same kind of dragon as the rest of your tribe," said gaundun as steeped out of the pool. The water on his scales glowed blue from the minerals inside them.

"I'm sure the leader would let you since we really need a healer." Rune said.

"Would I be able to visit the forest? Gaundun asked. He half wanted to go and he half wanted to stay. Then again. He would probably be able to come here to collect herbs.

"Well, to collect supplies and in your free time. And you could keep your name. You see me here at the forest, right?"

"Good point. I'll come if you leader allows it. Let me just grab a few things. He flew up the tunnel. He grabbed some herbs and but them in a pouch which he kept around his neck. He sat at the entrance, waiting for the purple dragon to reappear.

Rune followed. "I'll take lead from here. " Rune said. She started flying. Finally, she landed on a huge tree in the middle of the forest. She waited for Gaundun before going any further.

Gaundun flew after her, not bothering to land on the tree, knowing she was just waiting for him. "So why do you need a healer so much?" he asked Rune.
