"Of course," Shiara reassures her. "Thank you for the soup- it's delicious. I'll head out early and bring some bread with me for lunch, if that's alright," She'd like to get a good spot for some fishing, before the sun gets too high-fishing in the middle of the day at the hottest time was not the most idyllic to her. Once she's done eating, she'll get her neccesities and the lunches and head out.

You finish your soup and collect your lunch and your fathers lunch. As you head out the door, the sun hits you directly in the face. Yours eyes adjust to the light to reveal how busy the city is today. Market stands are being set up, if not already up, and people are everywhere running errands.
You weave through people who aren't paying much attention to their surroundings, but manage to make it to the docks with no issues. The main building is probably where your father is, since the morning boats seem to have already departed.
You head inside, finding your father looking at some papers behind the front desk. "Ah! Shiara, good morning!" Your father exclaims, putting down the papers. You can't tell what the papers say, but from the drawings on them, they look to be regarding a new boat you haven't seen before.

"Morning, Father. Here's your lunch-Mother said you left without it," Shiara says cheerfully and lifts the lunch up, careful not to put it on top of anything. "What's that there? It looks rather interesting." She's kind of curious to see what kind of boat is being designed-there's something fascinating about the differences in boats and their uses, at least to her.

Okay, here it is, do I need to add anything?

He grew up with his younger twin brother and his parents. His brother was far less worried and more impulsive than he was and would often be the one dragging him along on some adventure instead of the other way around. Time spent together was usually spent in the wilderness where he got some of his scars (the rest were from fighting) or talking into the night unless their parents knocked on the wall to tell them to quit talking as they both seemed to lack the ability to quietly whisper. They tried to keep their friend groups separate though after noticing one would always be in the shadow of the other and being mistaken for the other was unremarkably a common occurrence.
A friend introduced him to a guy who later became his best friend. A busy bee who likes dinosaurs and all the other creatures who existed before humans did. They were the one who designed his tattoos. Unfortunately, said person has gone missing after visiting the Elk Clan during the day of the attack. Worried, he wishes to confirm his friend's whereabouts.

Also can I change his skill in hunting to cooking?

Sorry for the wait! (This message may be little short as I'm sick at the moment)

You awake to the sound of busy streets outside, the most prominent being merchants who set up below your window. It isn't uncommon for them to set up against random buildings, but it also doesn't help that most homes in your colony are townhouse rows, and the streets around them tend to be the busiest.
The sun glares through a slit in your curtains, telling you it's probably around 9am, and your parents are both at work. You glance to the other side of your room to your brothers bed, which is empty and not made, like usual. You suspect he probably went to work with your father to shadow him.
You wonder what to do today to keep yourself occupied and not thinking about... him.

(Do you have any preferred names for your brother and best friend or should I come up with them?)

"Ah, thank you! I was in a rush this morning so it must have slipped my mind," He chuckled.
His face goes a little dim at your question, "It's a new boat we are looking at building with a Colony in Europe. It's supposed to be one of our biggest vessels yet."
By his tone of voice, you can tell he isn't telling you everything. You take another glance at the drawings, but can't see anything unusual other than how big it is per the scale measurements drawn beside it.

Huh. Bigger boats usually mean furthur distances, right? "Is it for cross-ocean voyage? Or...for something else? If i might ask. I'm a bit chrious," Shiara asks. She'll probably head out after a couple of questions- it'w probably just some classified design stuff, keep people from stealing one's hard work and all. Maybe- she's definitely grasping at straws here honestly.

Your father takes moment before he speaks, probably considering if he can even tell you what it is. "It's a refuge boat. Our most pricey ship to date. It can hold around five hundred people," He shifts his glance to the floor, "I don't think I can tell you more than that. Even if I could, I wouldn't want to make you worry."
He looks back at you with a soft smile, "Well, it's about time I eat and head back to the dock to tether some boats we have scheduled to come in. Plus, you must have things to do today, yeah?"

He closed his eyes again, covering them for a moment with his hands before getting up. With a bit of annoyance, he shifted the curtains to close out the glaring sunlight and made both their beds. Numbskull, he thought to himself as he shifted his brother's blanket around, even though he often neglected to make his bed as well.

He managed to convince himself to wash himself up, brush his hair, and change his clothes. It's been a little more hard to keep himself together than he would like to admit after the disappearance. He made himself take a couple bites of breakfast. The plan was to check if his friend had returned to his house even if it doesn't really help with his anxiousness at all, then maybe visit his brother and go into the wilderness afterward. Maybe squeeze in a purchase somewhere in between. Sounded good enough to him. He left the house and walked down to his friend's house.

(you can pick their names)

(Sorry for disappearing! I'm not exactly known for rememebring to actually come online nowadays-"

She nods. "I'm heading fishing," she says cheerfully. "Have a good lunch!" She files the info on the boat to the back of her mind- good to know, but hopefully it won't ever need to be used. But she suppsoes precautions are always a good thing.

She heads out of the building and out towards the sea. Hopefully she can get a good catch and then maybe there'll be fish for dinenr today or tomorrow. That would be nice.
