The wind started to blow a little harder, the metal groaned and screeched as it started to collapse, the boys screamed as they tried to run, but a beam fell in front blocking their escape.

Hedge and Pyro stared at the collapsing metal in terror, Kit wasn't about to let the boys get crushed, they seemed more like brothers now, she swooped down and put herself between the metal and the boys.

Sonic sprang into action, ears erect and eyes sharp. Nobody was getting killed on his watch. "AZUL! GET KIT OUTTA THERE AND LEAVE THE BOYS TO ME!" He hollered, eyes flashing yellow as he summoned his Chaos Emerald. "GO!"

Sonic growled and curled up tightly, careening into the beam. The beam gave way quite a bit beneath the blow, allowing Sonic just enough space to slip underneath. He hopped up and rushed up to Kit. "Listen; You need to get outta here. I can only Chaos Control two of you outta this wreck. The boys are safe with me, but you gotta trust me, got that?" He said, calmly but urgently.

Kit nodded and looked at the boys reassuringly, she rushed out of the collapsing metal, but not before a piece of metal cut her cheek, she didn't notice though, the boys gasped and stared at the metal that was coming down.
