It doesn't take long for the creature to walk into view. It has thin, birdlike legs, and unnaturally long arms. Dragging behind it is a thick, feathery tail. Its skin is a sickly grey, and its black hair is stringy and unkempt. It has four orange, gleaming eyes, and its long mouth has a beaklike tip. He can hear it sniffing the air, clearly searching for something.

It sniffs the air some more, taking a few absentminded steps towards Caleb. Venna must be masking her scent somehow.
