She followed him slowly, still trembling from what had almost happened. She gasped as she reached the back and sat down on the soft grass.
"So pretty!"

Akoni gave another chirp like noise as he stared at the box that blew cold air. He gave a shiver, and got even more curious. He jumped off Max's shoulder, and onto one of the shelves inside it. He looked around, sniffing things to get an idea of what everything was. It was food, human food. Why put it in a box? A cold one at that.
Akoni jumped off the shelf and onto the counter, poofing into his human form since he couldn't talk in his true form. He was sitting with his legs crossed, staring at the fridge with awe.
"Do you have pancakes? Or fruit? I like those!" He smiled cheerfully.

"Yeah I just gotta put these away." I told him. "Be there in a minute." I got in my tiptoes trying to get then bacj on the shelf.

"What do you want? A muffin..." I trailed off forgetting what I had in the pantry.

" The surface level huh, sound fun ! Oh, i should probably tell you my name so you wont have to call me demon or chimera, i am Cicuta."

he nodded " way out in the middle of nowhere, dosent get any better than this" he said leaning up aginst the back of the house and pulling out a little box like the one before and pulling out a cigarette and lighting it quickly

" Can do!" Max said pulling out a couple of little boxes and a little jar and a pan from one of the cabinets" they will take a minuets to cook but here .." he said handing you a little box full of strawberries and he started mixing the batter and turning on the stove.

"It does not," she agreed looking over at him. Her eyes widened in surprise as she spotted the cigarette.
"What are you doing," she asked leaping up and snatching the box out of his hand.

"Okay..."koda nodded and watched you curriously, and slightly protectivly

he shruged his shoulders " Honestly I'll eat about anything.... except peas..... they are a little creepy..." he said seeming a bit embarassed by the last part
