"Exactly." She sighed taking a moment to look over the man. He wasn't half bad looking himself, certainly it was fun to talk to him. "I've tried to figure that out myself but haven't found any leads to it. In truth I'm a bit concerned. If you are the only one left then what will the world be like after that? Once you are gone, when the time come of course, what will happen? I'm mean look around, the elves and them started leaving as did the color. Did the color have something to do with magic? It's fascinating to think about."

"I......... I......... okay." Shadow said. She smiled.

Kara yawned and struggled up, then licked her fur, trying to get it clean. When it was as glossy and shiny as metal, she went to eat with a purr. Her eyebrows rose at the size of the bulbori. But the bones! They're not adult bulbori bones, is it even possible for a Sylesti to be this big, yet be so young? She shook her head slightly and stretched out. "I'm going out, if I'm not back in a few hours go look for me" She said to Korak as she trotted outside of the burrow. Ah the fresh air!

Orinight-
He hadn't expected her to say yes but he accepted it anyways. Without further delay he walked to her. A few minutes later he lay beside her panting from effort. "Thank you Shadow." He said lookin at her.

Theon shook his head. "I doubt I'm the last half blood out there, but I probably am the youngest."
It was true, this was one of the few thing about himself which Theon was almost certain of. After all the olde bloods had disappeared 26 years ago and, Theon was only 24.

"Plus, I don't intend on going out without leaving somthing worth while behind."

He had to admit though, there were very likely not many half bloods left. A good number of people blamed the olde bloods for stealing the colour from the world. Perhaps the colour was somehow linked to magic. Humans aren't able to preform magic without the aid of potions or some sort of magic relic, all of which could only be produced by olde bloods. So it was reasonable for some people to come to the conclusion that the olde bloods had been hiding somthing from the rest of the world.

All this got Theon thinking about his own magical potential. Half bloods were perfectly capable of being just as magically proficient as their full blooded counterparts. Theon had always wanted to learn magic but had never had the means. There is no such thing as a book of spells or magic, any such thing is simply a ruse or misconception by humans. No, magic could only be learned hands on. Even potions needed to be infused during brewing, otherwise they were simply weak tonics.
Theon let out a small sigh.

Shadow nodded. She was exhausted with her body shaking slightly. She felt so weak right now.

Korak yowled out "Be careful with that stomach of yours!" and cleaned up around the cave. He sighed. They had both thought that the bottles and items were colored, but really it was just the reflection of their own color. The brown was simply a trick of light. Arranging some books in order, he found a small box. He pawed at it, trying to open it, and then hissed with frustration as he failed. In the end, he used his horns to get it open, and found paints in every shade of grey that could exist. He couldn't get the tiny paint brush out, and tried to use his tail. It didn't work that well, but he still managed to make a picture of the shelf. He smiled, and then went back to cleaning.

"I hope your right." She dared not say what she really though. Granted he was a half elf, but if her thoughts were correct then her blood also ran with another. It may not have been as strong as his but it was there. Mother had always said she had a way with animals and herbs, even spoke of stories of her great grandma whom was said to have been a nature fairy. The connection could be seen in her work, in her mere voice towards the animals but that was all. Shaking the thought from her mind she turned back to the pot and dished out a bowl for the man. "Here, careful it's still hot." She warned before pouring her own bowl and sitting across from him.

Theon thanked her as she handed him the bowl. "I hope so too. After all, I was born a good two years after the olde bloods vanished. That must mean that they're out there somewhere right?"
Despite the positive nature of his words, Theon's voice portrayed a sort of hopelessness as if he were trying for the hundredth time to convince himself it were true.
In fact what he really wanted to say was "If they are still out there, why aren't I with them?" though, that was definitely too personal.

Kara purred as she sat up on a branch, listening to the quiet rustle of leaves and whistle of an occasional bird. The river ran near by, creating the atmosphere of calmness. She closed her eyes and tried to imagine this world in colors. How ever, since the only colors she had seen were blue and red, most of the world was still grey.
