Akoni looked up from his wings, giving a small squeak in reply. In fact, he really was hungry. As if it was normal, he flew up onto Max's shoulder, perching on it like he was a bird. He didn't want to go into his human form for a while, because he still felt a bit stressed.

She walked out, blinking rabidly at the sudden change of light. She looked around once she got used to the light. She watched and stepped out on the road. She heard a growling sound and jumped back terrified as a metal beast zoomed right where she just was. She transformed into her normal form and hid behind him trembling.
"What... was.... that?"

" That was a car... best to not stand on the hard black rock..." he said before walking around to the back of the house. there were no other buildings around, just the road and a lot of grass and hills and trees
