They look completely normal however for a second there you could have sworn one of them was a skeleton of the cat. Yet they look normal and happy to see the stable boy. they purr and rub against his feet.

you see a little village down there, the sun has begun to go down and the people who live in the village are all dancing to music and laughing, they seem to be having a good time. however their faces appeared to be a skeletal or floral mix, bit you think they are painted on.

I slowly approach them, looking for some sort of inn or a person I can talk to about maybe staying there for the night.

If something is watching you it doesn't show itself, the backpack has stuff poking out of it, do you inspect?

the moment they spot you they stop dancing the music cuts off and everyone looks at you. then one person quickly steps forward to meet you. "Hello, I'm Nekrosh Mayor of this town, how can I help you?"
