Ella looked at him softly "y..you do?" she asked kinda shocked

Vyrhys looks at her, slightly confused. "Um, I apologize for being bilingual! Don't shoot the translator!" He sighs. "Really, don't mind Madex. She's a great person, but she's.... erm, been through a lot."

Vyrhys laughs nervously and teleports out of the way.
Wyrynn looks at the both of them like *wut*, but shrugs and proceeds. "They dragged me to a Conqueror base near Galaza," He says, referencing a planet near theirs that had been taken by the Exterminators. "They didn't ask questions, just imprisoned us immediately. They performed a couple of experiments on us, because, well, we artificially enhanced our lifespans, which is a useful trick from a Conqueror's perspective. They failed a couple times, and that's why I can do this. He raises his hand, and electricity crackles around his fingers. "Also, Vyrhys, since WHEN can you teleport?"

"Ow!" He protests, rubbing his head. "Look, I'm trying! You've got to realize here that I am by NO MEANS used to speaking English, I still have trouble understanding YOU guys sometimes! I'll repeat as much as I can, I swear it!"

"I cut out sometimes," He admits. "I think in Alamour so I have to actively translate everything I say- sometimes I have to think for a minute before talking. When I'm under pressure, I forget how to speak English entirely, you remember that. But yeah, the only reason I can understand you at all right now is because I've got 100 years of practice. My mind is not configured for human languages, frankly, they make no sense to me." Come to think of it, you have noticed him pausing awkwardly before speaking before, and although you're used to it by now, he has always had a strange accent that was initially hard to understand.
