There was a 'hmph' from the other side of the door. Sonic took it as a good 'hmph' and slipped inside. "How's our little patient doing?" Sonic asked cheerily. Knuckles rolled his eyes. "Quit it," He replied moodily, flashing a glare at him. Sonic ignored it and looked him over quickly. He was sitting up and hadn't torn off the bandages yet, so that was good. However, the hedgehog could clearly see that his companion was not in the finest of moods...

It took all of his willpower for Knuckles to prevent his fist from colliding with Shadow's face. "...As you kept me occupied. I shoulda known better. You'd never ask me to help with something like that..." He growled.
Sonic tried to slip out of the room as Shadow and Knuckles were talking.
