Dadua put his hand on her hand that was on the bed. He could tell she was flustered.

"no not really barely know her" he insisted not to be rude (dammit xD)

Ella twirled her fingers around his resting her head on his shoulder curled up next to him

"You remember the last battle," Wyrynn says quietly. "We fought long and hard- I'll never forget how brave you were that day- but Akila and her buddies...." He says this with venom in his voice. "....They cornered you, 20 on one. I came up behind, took out as many as I could. If I'm not mistaken, Akila should have a scar straight through the chest from where I stabbed her." He looks down. "I was able to reach you before you bled out, but just barely. I and three other survivors managed to hijack a ship and send you away, hopefully to somewhere safer. Only about 2,500 of us survived that fight."
Vyrhys breathes in sharply. "2,500....." He murmurs. "Wow. That's..... not a lot."
"I know," Wyrynn replies sadly. "You might want to translate so your friends can understand."
Vyrhys nods and repeats Wyrynn's story in English.

Vyrhys winces visibly. "Well, that explains the absence of contact over the past 100 years. He says we're the last Alamour outside the clutches of the Conquerors."

"no...no no no you guys bleed that nasty through that burns threw everything no! im not trying to melt!" madex says looking at them "if hes saying he wants us to go help them no! they will be covered in all that struff"

Vyrhys looks at her like she's crazy. "They are my species, but it would be a suicide mission to try and free them now.... in other words, I do not suggest we attempt that. And for the record, I did NOT ask to be born with acid blood, it's you guys' fault for being made of stuff that burns so easily."
