I reach out a hand to it, trying to calm it down. Beside me, Whitecloud snarls at it.

I try to pet it, and I smile at is so it knows I am friendly
As you walk closer to the wooden structure a door swings open from the side and a young man storms out muttering things to himself. The small creature whistles happily and flies down to the mans shoulder. He grumbles and ruffles its petal like wings. You stand still not really sure what to say...
What should you do?

I tell her about coming into town and talking to the shop keeper, I then ask if she could tell me which way Charlie and Tammy's house is.
You walk closer to its position and follow its gaze up into a large tree. Nothing seems to be there, anywhere up there. The strange boy stiffens and shushes you and Graveyard. He stares intently at the tree before taking a necklace out of a small brown leather bag and places it around his neck.
Should you ask him what he's doing?

I stay quiet like he told me to be, but I internally wonder what the bag is for.
He looked back at you blankly, you could almost swear that the corners of his mouth twitched up into a smile. Directing his attention back to the tree he spoke again.
"Yes, yes, it is very pretty isn't it? Daniella!!"
He raised his staff and whistled, a large vine of some kind spiralled down from up in the branches. He took a step forward onto the vine, then looked back to you expectantly. He wanted to you get up onto the vine.
Climb up onto it?

I just give him a simple nod and clung onto the vine, climbing up it.
