Knuckles looked at the black hedgehog a moment before shrugging and turning his attention back to the landscape. Wow, He marveled as he surveyed his territory. Everything's still alive here. The plants, the animals-- Everything. The birds sang their usual carols, innocently oblivious to the state of the world below. What war, Gaurdian? What war, young one? They seemed to say. Knuckles sighed once more and smiled in spite of himself.
