Kate tucks her tail a bit perturbed by the accusations" I assure you sir I think something else is at hand here.... after all why would I help out if all I wanted was to bring you bad luck... besides there is something odd about this incident." she says glancing back over at the markings before peting the baby eagle and flying over and holding her amulet to them as she had done with the stone, it seemed as if this thing had a since of direction in the very least.

1) Ignore it and continue on.
2) Investigate what it is.
3) Take up a defensive position.
4) Attack the shadow.

Kate was witty and quick with her response " Its an Old charm" her answer vague , but not suspicious " and if your so concerned about this than you are welcome to leave and get your people to safety, I on the other hand am going to find the beast who did this to your elders and see if they had something to do with the storm as well" she said but did not take here eyes off the amulet waiting for something to happen to get some since of what to do with these marks that were not being burnt.
