She shakes her head. "The laws don't take sapient beings into account. And even if there was, there isn't a way to prove that you were the cause of it." She flicks her tail, and the book vanishes. "Worst case scenario, you might have to go to Venatine, and knowing her she'd be fine with having Vica come with."

*is there any way to alliviate Vicas punishment? i would rather be punished than her, but if not, then can her punishment at least be lessened?*

"The law is the law." She replies flatly. "It's not something that can be bent just because you don't like the result."

he looked at her. *how long will i be Venatines servant?* he said, spitting the last word out like something foul.

"A week, presumably. If she wants you back that badly, which I doubt. It's really all up to her."

he nodded. *then Vicas a free kenindrae?*

She nods. "It's a very mild infraction. Worst case scenario, Venna decides she wants to hang out with you."
