Are there any willow or maple trees around? Their barks ar every malleable and can be made into a makeshift rope. and let's be honest if this based in canada there gonna be maple trees.

Not that you could see, the forest was mostly just cedar and fir trees. You could use the Douglas fir trees for fire protection though.

Hah Cedar works too, Cedar and Douglas leaves together is a good makeshift nature rope too. So she'll collect those to make some rope to tie her sticks up. and actually I doubt she'll have enough to work around the whole like house outline/territory thingy so If she can she'll cut off some of the smaller sticks from the douglas trees to make the rest of the fence if thats okay.
