Ciana smiled back. "Nice to meet you as well, Mr. Daciano. I look forward to a great year and expect more from both of you. I think I've heard your surname before...was your father a Sutea mage? I was friends with a Daciano..."

"No, but one of his brothers was, my family is infamous for having twins, but in my dad's case, he was a triplet, you were either friends with Arian or Elysae" He told her politely, trying to remember his insanely large family tree. Rhys and Hiraani were the only siblings in his family without a twin, all together, he had seven siblings, three older ones and four younger.


Sylver and the three other kids in the back were left with special work, as they were the advanced, or, referred to as 'shadow readers' who could gain information on people from reading their shadows. They were given some spell books, as well as basic spellcasting information books, and were sent to a small room to try to figure out the spell they were given. The group decided to work together, as they were able to fill in any blanks they had in their ideas.

"Arian... right." She laughed, almost seeming years younger than she was. She then turned to the rest of the class. "We shall start soon... we're only missing a Mr. Dritan."

"Xander...," Piper hissed, then noticed Rhys' confused look. "He's the blonde prick who was staring at me during breakfast. It's like he couldn't tear his eyes away!" She huffed, crossing her arms.

"What a creep, Sylver had to deal with this creep from another school once and she got really scared because some guy was taking pictures so her friend chased him down and broke his jaw" Rhys said. "So I'm sure if that weirdo doesn't back off we could get him to back off" Rhys said confidently.

Piper couldn't help but laugh. "Speaking of, I wonder how Syl is doing. If anyone teases her about her Morse Code, I'll punch them in the face... oh wait, nevermind, she's probably capable of doing it herself." She turned to Solace, who sat on the desk playing with the textbook on it.

"Hey, Sol, can you ask Ambrosia how Sylver's doing?" She paused, thinking. "Oh, and Ceol and Velvet too. You won't need to contact Gervasius, He's with Ceol."

Fine. The dragon flashed his bright colors. Just a moment.

Master Coleen swished into the room. She was frightening, and she knew it. Her long, platinum blonde hair was pinned up elegantly, some strands lying half down her back. As the youngest teacher at the Academy, she was underestimated.

But she pushed her students hard. She knew plenty would have mastered many instruments, but she was looking for students who could not just make music, but who could control with music.

She had walked in on a loud class. The loudest was a girl at the front. Her dark hair was braided, and her eyes were closed as she concentrated on playing and instrument Coleen knew as the Irish Fiddle. The girl's companion danced on the desk, enjoying the song.

King of the Fairies, Coleen recognized, her eyes widening. Reminds me of home... Coleen snapped out of it, before walking to the front of class, and drawing in a breath.

She focused on the crowd of students, then let out a high pitched whistle.

shes doing fine, she was put into the advanced class for being a shadow reader Ambrosia told them. After a while, the group had worked together to figure out the spell and what it did. They figured out the spell could create a darkness shroud, blinding people in a range dependent on the user's skill level. Once they had figured it out, the teacher allowed them to join the rest of the class.

As Solace relayed the message to Piper, the girl noticed Xander walking into the class.

The pureblood idiot, as Piper had labeled him, ended up having the seat right next to her. He sat down, and without turning to her, said, "Hey, Merriweather."

She ignored him, noticing his smirk. Turning to Rhys, she said," Since he's here now, I guess we'll finally start."

Xander turned and saw Rhys too. He plastered a smile on his face that was obviously fake, and held out his hand. "I'm Xander. Xander Dritan."

Piper expected a 'Yeah, I know'out of Rhys, and couldn't help but laugh. Xander shot her a questioning glare, and she laughed even harder. He rolled his eyes and looked back a Rhys.

Erin stopped playing and put her fiddle away. Her new teacher looked to be very young and beautiful, but also somewhat intimidating.
She raised her hand and asked the teacher, "An bhfuil tu Gaeilge Maistir Coleen?"

Ceol replied to Solace, Everything's fine- the teacher just arrived.
