"How should I know?" She said. "I've seen grumpier." She added.

Montague raised an eyebrow. "It looks like Shadow has an admirer." He looked back outside, the sun had set. He was going to get in trouble for being late. He bid everyone a good night as he turned to leave. "If anyone needs me I'll be staying in the nearby cave on the mountain."

Kepi mustered as much of a glare as she could and aimed it at Thorn. She was outraged, although she wouldn't admit it. How could he act so casual after he almost attacked Angelica? She shook a bit out of nervousness. Something was wrong. She couldn't help but smile though at Thorn's expression upon being totally tossed aside by Fae
"So...uh... is everything a-alright now?" she asked no one in particular, hoping that someone would answer.

"...Shadow." The black nixi replied as his gaze shifted to hers for a second. The comment Monty had made didn't go unheard by him, and the nixi almost let loose a growl. Annoying He thought. Nodding to acknowledge that the ghost nixi was leaving, Shadow glanced at the flying nixi again.
"What is it?"

"Umm..." Fae paused momentarily. For a second there, she was a little embarrassed at the other dark-looking nixi's comment, then she was frozen up again by Shadow's question. Her blush deepened a bit. "So...what element are you?..." She had a look on her face that resembled that of a small child peering into the window of a toy shop.

"Dark." He replied instantly. It was the tribe he was raised in after all, despite the stunt he pulled earlier. Perhaps that's how some multi elements came about? Because their ancestors' blood was dominant? However, in cases such as Thorn -he had heard the other nixi, the ghost was it? Say something about him being a dual element. He had not failed to see the fire teeth as well- it was just that the parents were or different tribes. Heh, he never saw any multis till today, and still didn't understand why they despised. Foolishness...

She looked at him a bit confused. "Dark?" She stopped hovering and sat on the floor in front of him. "What do dark Zolnixis do?" She was genuinely curious, but she hoped she wasn't sounding nosey. Until a few days ago, Fae hadn't even known that there were dark nixis. If they're dark, does that mean they're evil? Is that why mother never talked about them? she wondered. Then she continued to gaze at Shadow. He couldn't be evil, could he?

Should he tell her? He'd rather keep his powers a secret...
"Oh! He can change into shadows! And change others into shadows as well!" A cheerful voice interrupted his thoughts. At this, he let out a low growl. Idiot!
Still smiling cheerfully, the water nixi looked at him. "Oh, come on! You'd have showed her sooner or later anyway!"
"Better later then sooner..." The dark nixi mumbled.
"Besides, the dark tribes have different powers, Shadow just has one of them! I've heard that one could use the shadows as a force to attack!" Continued the female nixi cheerfully, not at all fazed by Shadow's mumbling during her small speech.

When Aqua walked up, Fae had almost totally turned her interest away from Shadow. She listened to the blue nixi as she spoke, then looked back at Shadow. "You can turn into shadows? How does that work?" She smiled cheerfully. "Show me show me!" All her life, Fae had only been around nixis that could fly. It would really be interesting to see a nixi do something else.

Sighing, the black nixi decided his rest was over, having been disturbed by the two female nixis. "You'll see one day if you are my teammate. You do not need to see it now." He said coldly, beginning to walk out of the den.
"Do not bother to find me, you most likely won't I'll be back in the morning."
Saying thus, the dark nixi left the den, making his way to a nearby lake, and setting up his makeshift den there. Finally, some peace and quiet... The flames around moved closer to his body as he lay down, warming him.
"Thank you.... brothers, sister..."

"Hm.." Aqua said, frowning. "He's right though, I have to sleep to... Think we're allowed to sleep here?" She asked the other nixis.
