July wrapped an arm around her and led her from the camp. "We're off to find some more firewood, we'll be back before it's too dark." He told Mia and Maggie. Once they were a safe distance away from the camp he pulled her behind a rock. "Now that we're alone, we can talk a bit more about this. Are you sure you want to do this? Having a baby is a big thing..."
"Do you know how hard it is not to murder all of you with this?" Maggie pulled the round relic like sphere from her saddle bag. It shines when she touched it, giving the surrounding area a golden hue. "They call it The Piece, or at lease SHE did, that goddess chick that is. I'm the only one that can hold it besides my family, my father to be exact. She said it was the key to open the gate."
