About fifteen minutes passed before Sonic returned, carrying the battered echidna in his arms in a way that his head rested on Sonic's shoulder. Sonic frowned. "...I'll say this much, it doesn't exactly look like he won..." the hedghog commented, ears drooping. "He's in pretty bad shape... You probably already noticed that though. I can't even get a twitch outta him, but he'll make it. I jis gotta start patching him up. While I'm doin' that, see what you can do about Shadow. I think he's comin' 'round," He suggested as he put Knux down and opened the first aid kit, perfectly calm and collected.
