Knuckles blinked drowsily as he landed at the base of the mountian. "...chicken..." He mummbled, limping off. "Too scared to fight a guy thats injured..." His headache just got worse and worse as he trudged along, and he was sore all over.
Sonic noticed the look of worry on Pearl's face. "Ah, wait," Sonic said, looking around to find the first aid kit he knew was on there. He zipped over to the cat when he did. "Here you go," He said. He opened it up and tossed her a cold compress and some bandages. He took a bandage as well and began to bind his injured leg.

"Yeah, Chaos energy will do that to ya..." Sonic shrugged. "I don't get it entirely, either," He glanced down at his wrist communicator. "...Would it be a good idea to contact Knux, see what's going on?"
Knuckles moaned softly, eyelids heavy and fur matted with sweat. His muzzle was pale, and he looked like a complete wreck with his numerous injuries. He gradually became less and less aware of his surroundings has he trudged onward, slower and slower. Eventually, those surroundings became a slick blur of color, then faded to black. The echidna let out a shuddering sigh and collapsed onto his side from pain and exaustion, loosing conciousness.
