Sparky laughed, "She has already tricked all of us with her race. Oh, I hated the water part of it." Sparky scowled, abruptly ending his former cheerful attitude.

Hazel sighed. "Okay." Drummer flew down towards her, making that interesting noise of his, and then swooping away.
"One lap around the house?" She asked the bird as it flew loops over her head. Then she took off, steadily getting faster until she felt as if she could fly. At the end of the one lap, she wasn't too winded. She smiled at Lyla.
"That good?" She asked.

Brandon nodded weakly. 'I think so?'

"Good Brandon keep trying," Luka keeps Flash at a steady pace.

"Very," Lyla says as Jasmine trails behind Hazel looking a little tired.


"Lucky you," Diana chuckles, "she threw me into the water with Phantom to get us to bond instead of fight with each other."

Sparky chuckles softly, "Oh, that sounds like... well, like something I wouldn't want to go through. I am pretty lucky I guess. Not as lucky as some, but luckier than others, I suppose." He smiles at his hands.

Matamba padded beside Flash, mewing softly, looking up at Brandon as if to reassure him that if he fell or anything, she would be there for him.

Hazel beamed. She liked praise... weakness or not. "Thank you. Really, Drummer was a big help in that. I wouldn't have been able to run half that fast without him." She turned her smile to her spirit animal. Drummer fluffed his feathers proudly, pleased to be of help.

"I see why you two bonded," Lyla speaks.

Flash lowers his head to sniff Matamba.


"Yeah no kidding," Diana jumps to another tree.

"Really? Oh, cool!" Hazel says. "I still don't know. We can be sooooo different. He can have this one idea, me another, and then my brother another, and then we are all just trying to figure out a way to get out of our new situation that we all got ourselves into. Anyways...." Hazel smiled, abashed that she had just rambled on about herself... again.

Matamba sniffed back. Then she mewed softly again, cheerfully yet softly batting at Flash, paw never actually touching him.

Sparky goes to an adjacent tree, a laugh escaping him as he landed with a soft thump. "I like heights. I don't get why Brandon doesn't though. We have nearly the exact spirit animal, so why doesn't it help him. A tiny difference..." he mumbled to himself, looking down. Heights never affected him, no matter how high he was.

"It's the differences that make us who we are," Diana mummbles, "Maybe it's because of everythign Brandon went through."

Flash takes a nervous step back as Luka calms him down.


Lyla chuckles, "That's not uncommon in fact Scarlet and Ashia are a good example of that."

"True... I have only known him for most of his childhood, and then barely caught up with him again after they raided our village, but who knows what he was through between that time other than his bossy sibling." Sparky said, resting his head on the tree's bark, hating how little he knew about the current Hazel and Brandon. They used to be best friends...

Matamba pauses, tilting her head in curiosity. "Sorry," Brandon apologizes.

"Really? They seem to be working together well enough." Hazel noted. "...Does she have an annoying brother?" She asked, just seeing if she was the only one with a disagreeable sibling.

"No just Justin who is her partner most of the time," Layla explains.


"It's okay just surprised Flash," Luka accepts the apology.


Diana nods once and leaps into another tree.

"Ah, I see." Hazel nods her head slowly.

Brandon nods. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Matamba mews again, rolling onto her back, paws splayed in the air.

Sparky pauses, wondering if he should go after her or... he shakes his head, and leaps to the tree as well, following her.

"Differences make the world go round or at least that's what Ashia's father said," Lyla speaks.


Flash takes another nervous step.


Daina notices and increases her pace from tree to tree.
