"That sounds like a great idea!" replied Ink. "Who do you think has the best records? Maybe the NightWings... Jade Mountain Academy would probably have stuff too. Either way we'd have to break into it."

Obsidian dismissed what they said about souls. No one could see souls, so how would they know? He didn't believe in the concepts of "souls" anyway. Besides, he felt no different...
His mind returned to when he escaped the palace. He had been so intent on leaving, he hadn't thought about the guards that were supposed to contain him. At the least, they would be severly punished. At the most, they would be executed. How many dragons have you caused to die? a quiet voice in the back of his mind sang. Do you even need a soul for your animus powers to be destructive? If he hadn't revealed what he did to the pot, all those guards would still be safe in their positions. It was either them or me.

"Hey, Obsidian, you alright there? You seem kind of distant..." Mercury said, a hints of suspicion in her tone. "Casting a spell to kill us all?" the slight joked, though for all she knew she could be right. Mercury was somewhat lost in her own thoughts. Poetry? Her mind said to her. She never considered it, but maybe she could write poems about the prophecy and the dragons fulfilling it. Mercury alway loved poetry, it was some of her favorite things to read in the library.

"Calm down Coastal, they're just patrolling the boarder between territories," she addressed to the hybrid.
"Hello, my name is Rhythm and I'm a Burstwing. Terribly sorry about that, we were just having some friendly chats with each other like good-natured friends do. You Mudwings simply startled us when you flew here," she explained.
"Hmm... Say Obsidian, could I have a look at the Mudwing figurine of yours?" she asked.

Coastal was very obedient, obeying her mother was all she knew, never defy what others tell you. Coastal backed down, though still ready to fight if these Mudwings tried anything. Coastal had just realized-she hated being told what to do, she wanted to speak, learn, and do anything she wanted with having to ask or be told to do it, but she didn't know how. Mercury could tell Coastal was very tense, and Coastal, for her age, was very large, towering over Mercury. "Hey Coastal, want to continue your lessons?" Mercury asked, hoping to ease the giant dragonet. Coastal looked at her and nodded, the two went off to continue learning.

Delta climbed over Deluge's wing, her small talons just barely managing to stay on it. She spoke, trying to keep curiosity in her voice, but that made her voice tremble with nervousness.
"Please, We are just here to patrol. We did not mean t-to.." She trailed off, having to hop off Deluge's wing. Her small torn wing flapped a bit, and that made turn to the right, she walked to face them.
"We did n-not mean to cause you all to turn hostile..." Her mud-stained talons seemed to wash away into a pearly white color, her sandy scales glowed like sand. "We will be on o-our way.." She could sense the hostility in the air, especially around the strange Blue and yellow dragonet.
"We will let you continue on your way." Her strange amber eyes looked at the others. "And your a.. Burstwing right? That's nice.." She turned away, her pale brown tail trailing behind her.

"Wait!" Obsidian called, handing the figurine to Rhythm.

Ibis curiously compared each of the MudWings to the figurine.

Ink silently hoped that yet another prophecy hadn't been found. He moved closer to Blizzard. "Wanna start a 'I'm not a special prophecy dragon' club?"

Coastal was finished with her lessons for now, going for a swim in the sea, Mercury came over to Blizzard and Ink "I get to join too, right?" She asked like if it was even a question, of course she could join, she wasn't not part of the prophecy either "Coastal was telling me about this Sandwing prince she met, after some talking, she realized he wasn't really her type, I don't think she's interested in him anymore" Mercury told them "so maybe you guys can start an 'in love with a dragon more important than me" club" Mercury joked "or maybe in love with a prophecy dragon will work better, but eh, whatever I guess" Mercury said.

The figurine seemed to match the Mudwing that was behaving nervously and who was also stammering when she spoke.
"Well then, may I ask you a few questions? Great!" Rhythm started to ask her questions before the other dragon could answer.
"Is it really true that Mudwing eggs that are red have a immunity to fire?
If so, then to what extent?
