"Nice to meet you Kris. Shouldn't you be up in your room or something," Her father asked, much to her frustration, "I'm just talking to... an acquaintance."
The 'acquaintance' did not seem pleased to be called that, though he did not argue, eyes glaring angrily at the king.

Kris wasn't sure if he should say something.

"I was going to ask about the virus but whatever," She huffed as both men looked surprised, shooting guilty glances at each other.
She dragged Kris and herself out of the room before they could respond.

Kris followed without fighting. "Is he usually like that?"

"Sometimes... most the time," She sighed, shaking her head.

"Dang. I've had to live with a few foster parents like that, made me wonder why they even thought of trying to adopt if they wheren't even gunna be with the kid much." He said.

"I wouldn't know, parents are parents, no matter how they are," Tina said with a shrug, "I wonder how Avo is doing?"

"I guess so. And probably alright, but he seems rather ... emotional. Don't know how he'd react to being all alone for a period of time."

"It is a bit weird, I find him strange," She said as she walked back to her room, opening the door.
Avo had made himself a holographic deck of cards and was playing with himself.

He smiled a little, finding that cute of Avo to do. Cute as in kitten way, not any other way.
