"Cant. Workshops buriedin rubble."

Raven tensed, seeming to become nervous but at the same time on guard. She would fight if she needed to.. but at the same time she knew it wasn't really the best of ideas.

"Well how about you just stopped launching things?"

Sawyer noticed, for once, and chuckled softly. "Don't worry, I don't mean you any harm. I just came to say sorry. For two reasons. The first, because I cut the crap out of you, even if it wasn't meant for you. And second..." He hesitated, seeming like he didn't want to say something, but this was all part of his plan to break it to her that Ash hated her now

" What is it? " Raven still seemed on edge, almost scared of him but at the same time she wasn't scared, just worried.

Sawyer met her gaze head-on, his eyes dead serious as well as his face as he said, "It's about Ash. And just hear me out, okay? I'm trying to save you here. I was coming in to visit you, right? And he was with some chick. I'm not sure who she is, but...And listen. I know you're going to try and tell yourself that I'm just saying this because I hate Ash and want you for myself, but I'm not. I wish I could say that I was, but...I can't."

Raven saw how he looked, and thought he couldn't be lying.. She looked heartbroken at hearing this. How could he? He said he would be there for her.. that he loved her.. that he would be honored to raise a child with her.. and she believed it? When she thought for another moment she thought Sawyer might be lying and became wary. " Maybe they were just friends.. " She murmured softly.

Sawyer shrugged. "I didn't think that friends stood around playing with their keys, and then kissed each other," he said quietly. "And if you finally decide that Ash is a first class jerk, let me know."

Raven just couldn't believe it.. How could he just go and do that to her? She had her doubts.. but then she didn't just doubt about how it could be fake, she doubted that Sawyer might be lying.

Kelsi reluctantly said, "...Yeah."

Sawyer swallowed hard, and not because he thought she didn't believe him. He muttered his next words so quietly they were almost inaudible. "I've always loved you," he promised. "And you know what? I always will. And," he said, not believing he was saying this, "I'll take whatever you can give me, even if that means me being...a friend." He had been hanging out with his siblings too much. Normally, he wouldn't have said anything like what he just did. He had seen the way she looked at Ash, and it infuriated him, but he wasn't really mad at Raven for that.
