..But what about her kits? Unlike their mother, the toddlers most definitely have never hurt anybody, and it's likely the teen is equally passive.

It still wouldn't allow them to be strong enough. Those toddlers won't age overnight, and it's unlikely whatever sickness the teen has will go away that quickly.

He goes with sparing the kits, but if he spares the kits he would have to take care of them or else someone else would kill them
