She shrugs. "I send him slugs that I rescue that need rehabilitation, and once they're fine, he gives those to the shadowclan to make sure they don't go back to a slinger that could mistreat them again."

She looks at the bracelet that he gave her, so that they'd always be connected. "We hate seeing anyone mistreated....especially slugs...they're like children in my eyes.....helpless compared to us..."

Amiera's smile falls as she looks over at Jinx. "I'm worried about that one....she escaped me when I was trying to pick her and my two up, then was hunted by the slughound, and almost trampled....even when I picked her up to save her, she was untrusting....most slugs, if they see you're only trying to help, will comply with you....not her...."
