I walk over too the river and crouch down, tail kinked over my back, and stick the tips of my fingers in the water, watching the current flow around them. I stand up and dry my hand off on my jeans and survey the area looking for signs of any creatures. I breathe in deep and smell the freshness of the woods, wondering if being part cat gave me a heightened sense of smell.
