He ripped off part of his shirt, a good bit, and began gently but firmy wrapping it around the wound. "Yeah. This is just for the pressure till we get to your place, this isn't a bandage." For once he sounded somewhat smart.

Tina huffed, but didn't argue. Once she was done she grabbed Kris's hand with her unhurt hand and led the way. Avo followed, gasping as he saw the mansion that the president lived in, it was huge!

Kris looked at it in surprise, he'd never seen anything larger than the school. Even in foster homes.

Tina opened the door wide, walking inside. That was the gate, not the door, yet. She walked up the path, not even fazed as a peacock pecked her foot. Avo was surprised, even trying to pet the peacock (he got pecked).

Yeah, I had school today. but I also started bleeding today with cramps, I just wanted to go home.)
"Peacock..." He muttered, all these animals he'd only heard of like fairy tales from Gabby due to her love of the past way of life.
