"No-ormal, old-der design. Please-e leave, I feel-l like your in d-danger here," Avo said freezing up even worse now as the sound of robot footsteps sounded outside the cafe.

Kris looked to the door of the cafe' nervously.

(Hm, noodles...)

Robots burst in, guards. Except they had their guns pointed at humans, which they weren't supposed to do unless they where a bad guy or something.

Aw, child is becoming tired?)

Kris was shocked, dragging Avo and him under the table they'd been at.

(Maybe... but I'm older then... you)

Avo didn't pretest, trying to crawl but freezing to much to move properly.
"We are here to elliminate," The robot blared before starting to fire at innocent people, along with the other robots, luckily they didn't see Avo or Kris.

Kris held in a gasp, starting to shiver as he put a hand over his and Avo's mouth. He was careful to pull Avo close.

(Then why am I the child? Shouldn't you be the child?)

Avo hugged Kris, eyes flickering a lot, "The virus, what if I get it," He whispered surprised that none of the robots had spotted them.

Yeah, but I call my friends child or kiddo.)

"You won't." Kris said under his breath, shaking as he hugged Avo back. He buried his face against the boy in fright.

(Me friend? Me child then!)

Avo nodded, daring not to talk. He might be okay if he got shot but Kris wouldn't. There where more gunshots and screams, then silence.
