Ken just kept working in the engine.

Mateo just rolled his eyes and went back to his quiet discussion with Nicote.

Sean noticed a few sections where the pipes seemed loose and struggling to stay intact so he pulled his wings in tight in their skeletal form as his choker started pulsing in a timer as he scooted under and began using his tail to tighten a few bolts and fix a few that where sliding out a bit.

Ken finished whatever hed been doing. "Well that's done." He said, relieved.

"And it only took you an hour!: nixote yelled over.

"Because you're being very ubhelpful."

"Were actually calculating your paycbwck." Matoe informed him.

"Oh."

He smiled faintly with a faint breeze of a laugh as he listened to the others,checking around the gas gages underneath to make sure nothing was leaking.

Matoe finally left, around the time Ken slammed down the hood of the car. :looking good down there, sean?" He asked.

Nicote came over. "Dude, I have to inspect your work before you na jsut go and start closing things ip."

"You were watching."

"****** up I was not."

"You were. I could see it from across he room."

Sean finished up making sure things where tight and snug,then crawled out,nodding to Ken. He smiled as he stood.

"Think it's finaly ready for a test run?" A redhaired boy had poked his head around the cornor.

Nicote raised an eyebrow at Sean. "Done down there??"

Sean gave Nicote a nod,dusting of his hands a bit as he let his wings carefully unfurl again.

Nicote gestured to the boy. "Go ahead and whatever you do, dontcrash. We dont have time to repair anything more hen munor stuff before whoever it was is supposed to come."

The boy whooped and hope dint hop drivers seat, starting up he car and backing it out. "So far so good!"

:just dont go too far!" Ken yelled.

Nicote facepalmed as the car went out the alley and once around he street. "Wehhy do we pay him to do this again?"

Sean gently patted Nicotes shoulder briefly in a sympathetic way,seeing that he didn't think it was going to turn out well.
