Thorn smiled. " Lighten up! You fighting nixies are always so uptight! " he rolled his eyes but smiled at Angelica. " Come here Angelica, catch up on what you two idiots have been up to! " he laughed.
Angelica smiled at Monty. " Thanks... "
She then timidly went up to Thorn who just smiled at her.

(Oh yeah, I forgot about that lol. It's been New Years for just over 11 hours at my place.)

"Fighting nixies? What are you talking about? I'm not a fighting nixi..."

Thorn laughed. " I mean nixies who fight! " he said. He then smiled at Angelica. " Please don't tell me your whole time you've been in the cave? "
Angelica hesitated but nodded. " Yes... " she half-whispered.
" You need a life... " Thorn said duly.

Montague sighed. "Look, let's just get back to the den, okay?" He turned to Katrina. " Aqua seemed pretty upset about you dying, we better show her you're okay."

Katrina felt her body turn solid at a bad time. She was still stuck in the ground. "Monty? Help?" She said embarrassed. She couldn't move. Her head poked from the ground awkwardly. "How to I turn ghost again?" She said.

Montague saw her and almost laughed as he remembered the troubles he had at first. "Ah, I'll help you with that." He turned ghostly and placed a paw on her head.
"Okay, I want you to close your eyes. I'll send some energy to you to make you change and when I do all you have to do is feel what it's like to switch between solid and ghostly. After that it's fairly easy to do by yourself." He waited a moment then started to make her change.

She closes her eyes and felt Monty's power course through her body. She became ghostly and went at the chance to float out. She tried and did it! Her paws were on the ground. She concentrated on becoming solid. She felt heavier. "I-I think I got it." She said. "Thanks."

Kepi was becoming frightened by the scene in front of her. Tempers were flaring and it reminded her way to much of at home. She needed to find help. Maybe she would get lucky and find someone. She ran along the only path that she knew, the one towards the den. Noticing Aqua was there, she sighed with relief that she wasn't the only one who couldn't handle what was going on. She gathered herself and walked out from behind the trees, trying to look poised. There was another nixi there, bright pink in colour. "Uh... hi there," she said, smiling. She nodded her head at both the nixi and glanced around nervously. "I don't wish to a-a-alarm you guys, b-but... they're scaring m-me," she eventually stammered out, holding back tears.

Montague noticed she looked embarrassed and tried to cheer her up. "You know I once got myself stuck in a large tree trunk for an entire day with nothing but my tail end sticking out. I even managed to agitate a wasp nest!" He laughed. "I couldn't sit right for a month."

"A tree trunk? A wasp nest? Now that's weird! You didn't get stung too much, did you?" She asked. No one would want to be stung a billion times, while having the rest of their body in a tree!
