Knuckles tore his eyes away from Infinite and glanced at the other Mobians hesitantly. "It.... No.... I... I don't believe--no, I REFUSE to believe it!" Knuckles' stammer turned into a venomus yell. Sonic dashed over to him and by the wrist to get his attention. "Dude! Snap outtavit!"

"Let. GO." Knux snarled with a menacing glare.
"Come on, talk to us," Sonic urged.
Knuckles wasn't having it.
"It can't be that-- OW!!! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" Sonic yelped.
"I asked you to let go," Was all Knuckles said before rushing at Infinite again.
Infinite made an amused sound from the back of his throat and teleported behind the attacker, launching a beam of energy that Knuckles barely saw coming and dodged. Sonic sighed and rushed in to assist him. "Fine, but I want an explanation later!!"

Knuckles ignored Shadow and focused on the fight. Gotta get him away from here... Protect the Emerald, and the Island. Stay focused. You have one job, Knux. Don't mess it up.
"Um. Shadow? Your not planning on just standing there right?" Sonic beckoned, Spindashing at the opponent. "No big deal or anything. Just fighting a guy that almost destroyed the world."
