my pet is the dragon so I I have her grab the parchment to be safe cuz of her hard scales are hary stif

You do it correctly. Your teacher smiles. "Now let me teach you how to defend. What I just did was the light whip. To defend it you can either override the other's magic and use their own magic against them. Or you can just create a web shield. A web shield is just using your magic to create a cage around you that looks like a spider web"
