Blizzard and Darkness raised their forelegs as well. Darkness noticed a few eyes on the mark on her foot, and hurriedly lowered it.
"You all right, um... Mercury?" Blizzard asked, looking over at the IronWing. "If you're worried about the prophecy, I'm not in it either. Probably. I mean, the IceWing statue doesn't look like me much. The scar there doesn't exist on me, and she's a female."
"So, why are we being asked this?" Darkness asked, shuffling her marked foot.

Coastal looked at her foot. "Woah, I never realized that was there before, or maybe I did and I just forgot" Coastal said, staring at the mark confused. Coastal smiled and turned to Mercury, patting her on the head. "oh! no! did I break you?" She said, startled at the cracks on the Ironwing. This made Mercury alarmed. "What? Cracked scales? no! can anyone here break fire? Someone needs to breathe fire on me!" Mercury said alarmed, looking at her faint cracking scales. Coastal raised her hand again, blasting a long stream of fire, the Ironwing trying to cover every part of her body in it. Mercury breathed a sigh of relief, seeing the cracks were gone, Coastal, on the other talon, was exhausted and out of breath.

Obsidian also raised a talon, although he wasn't certaing why his parents had died, it was probably from The Flashing.
Ibis and Ink looked at each other. Neither of them had experience with it. Ibis answered the question posed to her: "I didn't see the locations of the others, I just had a feeling that I was going in the right direction."
"That feeling caused you to run into a tree," Ink reminded.
Ibis scowled. Now that he reminded her, her nose hurt.
"I think my mother could do whatever I can do," said Obsidian. "You know, talk to the metal and it listens?"

Darkness instinctively growled. "An animus?" she asked, trying to suppress the deep-seated rage flying through her. Animus dragons were the cause of her tribe's lack of abilities. They had gotten rid of their fire breath, their colors, near everything that made them dragons, and left them with the killforms. And now, along with much of her tribe, she despised animus dragons with all her heart.

Coastal looked up with alarm, not really paying attention to the conversation "What? Animus? No I'm not, that's a dumb thought, that I could be an animus" Coastal scoffed. Mercury just nudged her harshly. "Coastal, the aren't talking to you, they're talking about Obsidian" Mercury told her.
Mercury didn't know too much about animus, and wasn't very familiar with the term "Oh, that's a dangerous power to have, if you use it too much you'll lose your soul and go insane and kill anyone you care about" Coastal stated blatantly. Based on the reaction of the others, especially Darkness, she knew telling them about her powers would be a bad idea. "So, blizzard, what do you think about animus powers?" Coastal asked the Icewing.
(I might leave Scorch as just an npc character since I don't really use him much)

"Why? What's wrong with being an animus?" Obsidian asked, confused. "I'm not the only one? And wait- what did you say about losing your soul?"

"If you use your animus powers too much, you'll lose your soul, every time you use it, your soul depletes, little by little, then you go insane, and most likely murder everyone." Coastal said again. "My mama told me that when I was a hatchling, she read to me a lot, but never really taught me how to read" Coastal told him
"I'm sure it'll be okay, just try not to use your powers unless you really have to" Mercury told him.

"Well firstly, in the prophecy it said, 'Although the sickness comes from afar... '. I think that this refers to the Flashing, and that the prophecy dragonets might have something to do with this.
In the replies that you gave me, several of you did in fact encounter the disease in what ever way that you did.
Secondly, I've also noticed that some of you have something special or supernatural, like a sixth sense or magic, and so on. Ibis' sense is similar to Darkness' with how they were able to find the other dragonets without even knowing them.
Thirdly, the dragon figurines are most assuredly animus touched. How they are able to move, the motives behind their creation, and why they look exactly like us, are all unknown at the present time. Hopefully, Obsidian could later give us some insight upon this matter.
Finally, Darkness? I will not ask about your scar. Judging by your reactions, it seems to be a personal matter of the type that you may wish to disclose when you feel like it.
These are all of my conclusions about current events at this time," Rhythm declared in her researcher/scholar voice.
