"Gale and Ravi." Jane said.

"Why should you care!" Shadow growled blinded by grief.

Kall had returned to the camp and noticed all the sudden smells in the air. They were intermingled, but he swore he could make out the smell of newborn pups. He tracked the smell to LeadHunter Jane's den. He knocked lightly on the door. Placing down the baby Peacock he had earlier caught, he took the blood red feather that belonged to it's mother. Placing it like a cross on top of the hatching, he erased his scent and ran back to his den.

"Like closer to your belly?" Rafe asks pulling away. He put a finger on the on he was speaking about. "This one or the other?"

"Both very nice names." Myles smiled at her. "As for the other?"

"You just seemed like you could use a friend is all. I thought you would want to talk to someone about it." The voice said.

"I am not sure." Jane said.

"All I want is Maribel to be alive........... how could this have happened?" Shadow cried.

"Yeah" she said. She was blushing, but the darkness of the den hid it.

Hirsch listened to them. "Is our beta found a mate?" Hirsch whispered to himself. "How could she abandoned us like this?"

Amber spoke, a bit louder since she was sure no one was around. "I just don't know how to bring it up to my pack. It also means that if you are my mate, you need to be Alpha or Beta." She said, sighing.

"Why........ would she want this person here.........?" Hirsch whispered very quietly.

"How about Lilly?" Myles said with a slight smile.

"It just does sometimes, even to the best of us." The voice said as a hyena picked her head from the brush slowly to approach the cat. "I'm sorry you lost her."
