Jason shook his head. "Shade's dying,I feel it.He dies i die...and Clare's...not ganna wake up.She's in a coma...You'll be fine.That's all that matters." he said,carefully picking her up to and trying to stand her up.

Tears began falling from her eyes. " but i can't leave you here..."

He shook his head. "You can,you just go." He explained,gently brushing away her tears and making sure she stood. "You'll be fine.Trust me,besides." he laughed softly,but his tail stayed limp and his ears didn't twitch up. "I can't leave Clare.When she wakes up,if she ever will,she'd be all alone.I can't do that to her." His voice wavered though.

She cried harder, turning away from him and running off into the forest.

He was tempted to run after her but he felt his head spin because Shade wasn't ganna last much longer. "Dang it." he grit his teeth but forced himself to go after her,jogging. He couldn't keep up on two legs so he dashed on all fours but his path swayed and wavered,side to side and stumbled here and there.

Shade felt Justice trying to do something and so he grit his little teeth and forced himself to stay awake best he could,knowing he mattered.Knowing Justice mattered,even if Shade didn't.

She ran all the way to her pod, collapsing in tears beside it.

Justice ended up making it almost far enough but his legs gave way a few yards away. He gasped softly,trying to say something but couldn't.


Shade felt it and took in as much air as he could without crying out in agony.

Justice felt the boost and was able to call out then. "A-Akira!"

She glanced back at him as he said her name, but she didn't respond.

He pushed only enough to look at her and said one thing,and it was Shade and him both,one eye red black and yellow and the other pure yellow. "I'm sorry.Us both.We're sorry." and then they collapsed,passed out from Shade's blood lost.
