(insert long swimming montage here)
After traveling all morning and into the afternoon, you come across the trench. It's..... terrifying, a deep chasm cut into the sea floor. You can't even imagine where the bottom is; the whole place feels..... foreboding, dark, maybe even evil. Caspian looks like he's going to pass out, and even Kori looks a little afraid. "Well. Here we are, folks. I introduce you to..... the Deep." He swims over to Mali and Amethyst. "Can you two disguise yourselves as Water fairies? I doubt the Deep citizens would take too kindly to Dark fairies, even if you aren't the nasty ones."

Amethyst sighs, "I've used way too much of my energy for this," She says before changing into a water fairy

Kori shudders. "Sorry about that. I just..... don't wanna think about what they might do to a couple of Dark fairies down there." He takes one last look at the others and dives down into the trench.

Amethyst follows Kori

It takes you a good minute to reach the bottom of the trench. The water pressure is intense, and the only light comes from eerie blue lanterns filled with some sort of bio-luminescent algae. A guard approaches Kori. "Identify yourselves," He says, sounding bored. "Ex-Prince Kori of Atlantis." Kori spits back defensively. "That good enough for you?" The guard laughs, a nasty sound like someone choking on a piece of gristle. "Atlantean. Figures. What about the rest of ya?"
The guard looks a little like this:

"Amethyst.." Amethyst says. "Mali," Mali says, a hint of bitterness in her voice

The guard narrows his sharklike eyes. "Those don't sound like Water Fairy names to me." Kori shrugs. "We didn't choose 'em. Also; this is Caspian." He slaps the shivering Atlantean in the head, glaring. Come on, act natural!

Amethyst shrugs "Blame my parents for naming me."

The guard rolls his eyes. "Fine, fine, good enough. Registration over that way," He points to a large booth with a couple disheveled-looking water fairies standing in line. "Have fun. Enjoy the city." He smiles nastily, exposing pointed teeth like a shark's. "Don't worry, we will," Kori calls mockingly back at the guard.

Mali swims over first, followed by Amethyst
